The U District StreetFair is the kick-off event for the festival season in the Seattle region. It is the longest running street festival in the nation. Self-described as “country fair meets urban retail corridor”, the StreetFair attracts 50,000 attendees and over 350 craft, food and information booths to the District on the third weekend of May each year. The StreetFair is an energetic and exciting celebration of arts and crafts, community, music, and food. You’ll find a whirl of color and creativity.

Join us in 2012 and celebrate our 43rd annual Fair. There will be three main stages featuring music, dance performance, comedy and more, a special children’s area with age appropriate events, a wonderful medley of street performers and much more. The unique local and regional arts & crafts and an array of international food will delight you. Lights of Christmas
Dates for 2011: Dec. 1-4, 8-11, 15-23, and 26-28
Gates open at 5pm. Event closes at 10pm.

More than 1 million Christmas lights will be displayed, a spectacle spread over 15 acres at Warm Beach Camp in Stanwood, Washington, during 20 days in December.

The Lights of Christmas offers live music, theater, crafts, pony rides, a petting farm, and Polar Express Train rides. Visitors can shop for Christmas gifts, listen to carolers, attend a dinner theater and visit with Santa Claus or Bruce the Spruce, the talking Christmas tree. Food choices will range from clam chowder, and kettle corn to rib tips, chef salad, corn dogs and apple pie.

Overnight accommodations are available at holiday-themed lodges.

One of the biggest craft fairs in the South Everett the annual Mukilteo School’s crafts fair will feature more than 70 vendors that will be on hand selling hand-crafted wares, including a variety of holiday and commercial-type items.

The craft fair is organized by the Mukilteo School District social committee. There will be live entertainment, great food and fun.

Proceeds from vendor table fees, raffle and a 50 cent admission donation benefit student scholarships to four MSD graduating seniors at ACES, Kamiak, Mariner and Sno-Isle Skills Center.

About The Festival
The Everett Sausage Festival is a family-oriented weekend fair centered around a Bavarian theme. From our traditional Bavarian Dinner to a variety of food booths, children’s games, the Family Entertainment Stage, bingo, carnival, and Bavarian Beer Garden and Stage, there is something for everyone. Everett Sausage Fest was founded to support Catholic Education at Immaculate Conception/Our Lady of Perpetual Help School and is now in it’s 35th year.

Bavarian Beer Garden will keep the place jumping all weekend. And new for 2011, join us in the Wine Bar! Inside the Beer Garden.
