Another new blog I’m following!
I’m not real big on St. Patrick’s Day (even though I have a touch of Irish!). I will eat a green cupcake but please don’t pass the Guinness (blech!).
I love theme parties and only wish I had the time and energy when our daughters were growing up to throw a few. However (I use that word alot….) I suppose there is no time like the present to start gathering ideas. Who knows….maybe we can have a themed family gathering (ooohhhhh Easter is coming soon!).

I just had to share what we scored off of Craigslist over the weekend!
I had been keeping my eye out for some kind of storage unit so I could organize our ingredients and products better.
And this is what I found!
An extremely heavy, solid wood, antique corner hutch!
It is 6 1/2 feet tall and 4 feet wide and made of solid wood. It barely (and I mean BARELY) fit through the front door and almost killed hubby bringing it in. It was too big to fit in the room that I had intended it to go in so it is at the end of a hallway. Which is perfect!
The gal said she paid over $300.00 for it an estate sale.
My cost…..$60.00! I was so thrilled with the piece that I didn’t even try to offer her a deal!
Once we get the remodeling done I want to either sand it down and restain it or paint it.
I love this so much I want to search for more old pieces…
Unfortunately, at the moment, we don’t have any spare floor space!

A fellow co-worker recently turned me on to a wonderful local business!
Klesick Family Farm is a local (Stanwood) family owned farm that has a unique business model.
They offer organic produce (and other items) in various selections (selections change weekly) along with home delivery!!!
We received our very first order today…even though it’s just hubs and I, I elected to go with the Family box.
We received apples, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, bananas, garlic scapes, red leaf lettuce, cantaloupe, broccoli and potatoes!
This weekend I think I’m going to make potato salad and put in some chopped garlic scapes! Hubs wants strawberry shortcake (of course!!)
I see they have next weeks availablity up already and dang…makes me want to order again!
We (hubs and I) have never been into organic but I decided to support this business because:
