**Chicago lost out to Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympics…bummer.

**Did you know you can’t ‘seal a meal’ banana bread?? It will take a 6″ high bread and shrink that puppy right down to 2.5″.

**If you don’t have Microsoft Office there is an alternative….Open Office..and it’s free. Since we have MS Office I did not download and test this application. Let me know if it works for you.

**I don’t understand ‘foodie’ bath and body products. I don’t particularly like food scents but that’s just me. If you want to smell like a snickerdoodle that’s entirely up to you!

I have seen soap (mostly melt/pour) in the shapes of cupcakes, cake slices, hot dogs and, yes….even dog poo.

Sorry I like plain old square soap thank you very much.

**Coffee Barista’s….Sex or Coffee??
Most of the time I try to mind my own business.
But this issue is just too gross for me to keep my mouth shut!

The newest thing in coffee stands around here are bikini baristas. The less they wear the better or so say the owners. Obviously these stands are catering to young males (I don’t know of any mature adult man who would actually go to one of these) with raging hormones.

Picture this….
A YOUNG (some as young as 16) female clad in barely there shorts and pasties….
These girls actually sit on the counters (HELLO!!!! They make your coffee on those counters!!), spray whipped cream on each others body parts and lick it off and parade around outside the coffee stand. At one local bikini stand here the baristas were even charging extra money for showing total nakedness.

Now my question to you is this…
Why is the health department not all over this?
Is it truely ok for barely clothed people to make and serve you food?
Why aren’t there regulations on how scantily clothed a person can be while preparing and serving you food?

The City of Everett is working on new regulations and have in fact charged several baristas with prostitution.

To me these bikini stands are nothing more than peep shows and should be treated as such.

Personally I think the owner of such stands are totaly missing the mark.
They are only catering to a small selection of males and have alienated most females, family and those of use who truely want a good cup’o'joe instead of a peep show consisting of young females.
