Many months ago I got it into my head that I would love to have raise finch on a very small scale…we have a breeding pair of Zebra Finch, Society Finch (with 2 babies ready for new homes!) and Lady Gouldian Finch (who will be breeding very soon).

I buy our ABBA finch seed at Beaver Creek Aviary because you can buy it in bulk quantities that you can’t find in local pet stores. Most other misc. items I get at the pet store including millet sprays.

I was for a long time happy with the millet sprays until I ran across Fabulous Finch while browsing for Lady Gouldian specific products.

Looking at the picture of the millet sprays offered on Lady Gouldian and mentally comparing it to the pet store millet that I was buying I was thinking…no way!

Those millet sprays are HUGE!

I ordered and received my 5 lb. box and was amazed!!!!!!

Even with paying shipping costs I was saving over $1.00 per pound AND instead of the puny pet store sprays lasting 1-2 days these HUGE sprays last well over 4 days!

If you own birds that eat millet don’t waste your money on puny millet sprays offered in local pet stores!
