Natural Face Masks…..

Facial masks are used in health and beauty spas all over the world and are a great way to cleanse, detoxify and tone your skin giving you a natural, healthy glow.

While it is always nice to treat yourself to a commercial mask you can have fun creating your own at home.

Have some fun…get a few friends together and have a beauty party!

Simple Clay Mask
Fullers Earth, Dead Sea Clay or French Green Clay

Liquid (water, cream, milk)

To 1 tablespoon of clay add enough liquid of your choice to make a spreadable paste. Apply to clean, damp skin and let dry. Rinse and moisturize.

Egg White Mask (good for firming)

White of 1 Egg

1 teaspoon Cornstarch

Combine ingredients until stiff peaks form. Apply to face and let dry. Rinse.

Papaya & Pineapple Mask

¼ cup Papaya Puree

1 teaspoon Pineapple Juice

Mix ingredients and apply to face.  The papaya and pineapple contain enzymes which can help dissolve and lift away dry skin. Due to these enzymes your face may tingle a bit when using this mask. If irritation occurs discontinue. Mask may have a slightly bleaching effect and may be beneficial to help even out skin tones.

Wheat Germ & Honey
1 tablespoon Honey

1 teaspoon Wheat Germ

1 teaspoon Almond Meal (finely grind almonds in a blender)

Combine ingredients and apply to face. Leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse.

Peaches & Cream

½ Peach

1 tablespoon Heavy Cream

Mash peach and add cream. Apply to face and leave on for 20-30 minutes. Rinse.

Because these formulas use fresh, natural ingredients they are for a one time application.

(Masks should always be applied to clean, damp skin. Avoid eye area. If irritation occurs discontinue).
