In my growing fascination with lampwork beads I ended up at a quaint little bead and button store….Red Garnet Beads & Buttons in Mountlake Terrace!

They seem to have just about everything a girl could want (with the exception of lampwork…they were out at the moment!) from beads, buttons, tools and wire to an experienced jewelry maker who is more than willing to answer any questions you may have…and if you are a newbie in the jewelry department like me you will have lots of questions!

Red Garnet will be at the top of my list as I venture into the world of making your own jewelry. Unfortunately my journey will be a long slow one as we are fast approaching the 2006 holiday season …a time where Country Meadow is at its busiest.

September 17, 2006 Red Garnet is having their second anniversary party from 11:00am – 3:00pm. Lampwork artist Jill VanBerkom will be there demonstrating her craft, there will be drawings and prizes and 10% off regularly price items.
