I admit I’m a coffee drinker….try as I might I just can’t get into teas and I have tried many kinds.
I do however LOVE our Herbal Teas collection and just can’t seem to get enough!
So without further ‘a-do’ I would like to introduce our newest Herbal Teas products.
Rich in cocoa butter, shea butter and nourishing oils our herbal teas sugar scrubs use raw sugar and powdered rice as exfoliants. Because these are emulsified scrubs they are relatively solid and easy to use.
Note: Due to the heat of summer and your specific location any of our sugar scrubs may arrive somewhat soft. Just give it a gentle stir and pop in the fridge until firm.
One of the biggest sizes available anywhere our whopping 16 oz. jar is only $26.50.
For a true Zen experience don’t forget the matching soap and lotion!

We are in the process of splitting our wholesale website into two separate sites. You will soon have the choice of logging into Wholesale or Dropship from our main website. Both sites will be password protected as usual.
The new Dropship site is finished with the exception of a glitch or two (nothing that will affect ordering). Everything will look the same as it did before. I hope to have the link posted in a day or so.
The new Wholesale site should be finished by mid-week. In addition to the new site we have revamped our wholesale policy and instead of having case minimums there will be a flat $100.00 minimum.
Until this project is finalized (again hoping by mid-week) you may still place your wholesale/dropship orders like normal.
Thank you for your patience.

If you live in the Puget Sound area there is a lot going on this weekend. I personally won’t be able to attend all of the events but I sure hope to make it to a couple….after all…everyone needs a break!
Marysville Strawberry Festival which brings me to one of my favorite farms – Biringer Farm…come and PIG OUT!
Sorticulture Show- Everett (I will definately be going to this one…lots of plants and handcrafted garden stuff!)
Edmonds Art Festival – We just may have time to swing by this one before heading back to work.
Fremont Fair – Unfortunately I have yet to make it to this one. I have heard they have wonderful vendors (both food and handcrafted items) as well as the Summer Solstice Parade (it is rumored that NAKID bicyclists ride in this particular parade…hmmm…maybe I should find the time to make an appearance….no silly…not as a rider!)
Father’s Day at the Zoo – For the first time Woodland Park Zoo is having a Father’s Day BBQ!
And lets not forget the Washington Brewers Festival – Family entertainment, kids activities and beer!

It was time for a label change…(I never really liked the original label anyway)….
Island Baby (Island Tropics Collection) has gone to the beach.
Introducing the same great soft tropical scent in a brand new label.
Island Breeze – a soft, powdery scent with a Polynesian twist. A unique blend of plumeria, pikake, rose and other florals this scent is perfect for those hot summer months. Not overpowering it has just the right amount of floral-ness to make you wish you could fly away to Polynesia. (honey….can you get the travel agents phone number!)

In Honor of the Strawberry
The word strawberry comes from the Old English streawberige because the plant sends out runners which could be compared to pieces of straw. Although they have been around for thousands of years, they weren’t actively cultivated until the Renaissance period in Europe. Strawberries are native to North America, and the Indians used them in many dishes. The first colonists in America shipped the native larger strawberry plants back to Europe as early as 1600.
Not only are strawberries tasty, but they are also low in calories and very nutritious. They are high in vitamin C, which has been shown to be a deterrent to some forms of cancer and also helps prevent oxidation of LDL or bad cholesterol. They are a good source of fiber. But, most importantly, they are one of the few sources, along with grapes and cherries, of ellagic acid, a compound which has been shown to prevent carcinogens from turning healthy cells into cancerous ones.
Strawberries are also rich in salicylic acid (otherwise known as Beta Hydroxy Acid) and is the key additive in many skin care products as it causes the dead skin to slough off more readily preventing pores from clogging.
Pick ‘em Right
Look for strawberries that are plump, bright red in color and have fresh green caps.
Keep ‘em Cool
To maintain flavor, store strawberries loosely covered and unwashed in the refrigerator. Just before eating, rinse with cool water.
Strawberry Weights & Conversions
One 16-ounce clamshell container = 3 cups or about 18 whole berries, therefore: 1 pint (2 cups) = 11 ounces or about 12 whole berries
